Our terrace is adorned with rambling pink roses, creating a picturesque backdrop for any occasion.
Behind this botanical wonderland is Chester, who heads up a dedicated gardening team tending to every inch of the grounds, ensuring they remain meticulously manicured and looking fabulous throughout the year. We invite you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds us.

JOZI JACARANDAS – A SUMMER CARPET
Jozi’s summer signature: Jacarandas in full bloom!
From late September to November, the city transforms into a purple paradise with 10 million vibrant flowering trees. Originally from South America, Jacarandas can’t be newly planted any more, and their history here goes back to the late 1890s. William Nelson, owner of a Nursery, pioneered street tree planting by planting 106 kilometres of trees along the streets of the newly established suburb of Kensington.
These iconic trees, with a lifespan of up to 200 years, are now an integral part of Jozi’s landscape.
