With creativity coursing through his veins, Chef Jandri is a perfect fit as he adds his palatable flair to the cuisine and ambience of Fairlawns.
With close attention to detail and exceptional service, Fairlawns creates an intimate atmosphere, and “it is this detail that is closely aligned with my food”, shares Chef Jandri, “the property is beautiful and there is so much detail that goes into everything, and my food mirrors that seamlessly”.
Born and bred in Cape Town, the outdoors shaped his outlook to appreciate the smaller things in life, and what defined the determination and perseverance he projects onto the present and into the future. Growing up in a family with cooks, his feet are planted firmly on the ground, rooted in artistic creativity with a deep love for the culinary art. Jandri’s talent extends to Abstract Art which he does as a hobby, superbly, having sold several pieces. In fact, he initially considered studying Interior Design.
